About Stella's Lorikeet

The Stella’s Lorikeet (Charmosyna papou) is also known as the Papuan Lorikeet. It occurs in a red phase and a melanistic phase, the melanistic phase is frequently found at higher altitudes and is more sensitive to overheating in warm weather.
