About Mitchell's Lorikeet

The Mitchell’s Lorikeet (Trichoglossus forsteni mitchellii) has suffered a steep decline in numbers in the past few decades. Total numbers of wild Mitchell’s Lorikeet has been estimated to be only 30 to 40 individuals (according to World Parrot Trust).
