About Meyer's Lorikeet

The Meyer’s Lorikeet (Trichoglossus lorinae) is a forest dweller, confined to a single island of Indonesia. This 8 inch long bird is spectacular in appearance. They reside at elevations of 1700 to 6000 feet mountainous forests. These birds are shy but noisy.
