About Leucotis White Eared Conure

The Leucotis White Eared Conure (Pyrrhura leucotis) is also known by the name of Maroon Faced Parakeet. The plumage of this small parrot (21 to22 cm long) is mostly green. Habitat destruction is the primary cause in the decline of numbers of this bird.
