About Hooded Parrot

The Hooded Parrot (Psephotellus dissimilis) is a slender and long tailed parrot thriving in Melaleuca woodlands, grasslands, termite mound areas and eucalyptus woodlands along rivers. These birds should be housed as single breeding pairs, as they may show aggression towards other birds.
