The Golden Pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus), also known as the Chinese Pheasant, and Rainbow Pheasant, is a gamebird with spectacularly gorgeous plumage of the males, while the hens are much duller in colouration. They feed on the ground, but roost in trees at night. They are clumsy fliers and can only manage short, fast bursts of flight. They can run fast.
