The Duivenbode's Lory (Chalcopsitta duivenbodei), or the Brown Lory, is a highly active and noisy bird, feeding in large groups, sometimes along with birds of other species. These birds are known to establish daily flight paths connecting their feeding sites, which tend to follow the natural contours of the landscape. At night they retreat along the same paths back to their communal roosts.
